Miss Jackie (Owner/Business Director)
N-Step Dance Center proudly welcomes Jackie Lemoine as its new owner.  Miss Jackie is trained in classical ballet, jazz, and tap, and has been dancing since she was 2 ½ years old.  Miss Jackie continued her study of dance as a dancer and dance instructor in New Hampshire, while she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. 

In addition to dancing, Miss Jackie is an extremely talented cheerleader, cheerleading coach, and choreographer.  With an extreme passion for youth, and a focus on making sure young people have plenty of extracurricular options to guide them into lives of athleticism and prosperity, Miss Jackie began working with a Manchester youth cheerleading organization.  Miss Jackie served as Cheerleading Coordinator for ten years, and successfully revised and redirected the organization, which was comprised of approximately 120 cheerleaders and 25 staff members annually.  Under her direction, the organization achieved numerous titles on the state, regional, and national level.  Miss Jackie is also a certified cheerleading competition judge. 

Miss Jackie was also pivotal in the inception of the Southern New Hampshire Beavers Semi Pro Football & Cheerleading Team serving as General Manager, bringing semi professional football and cheerleading talent and excitement to Southern New Hampshire.

Miss Jackie’s love of dance, coupled with her 15+ years of successful business management experience, will be demonstrated in the experience that both you and your will receive while at N-Step. 

Miss Jackie teaches Tiny Tots, PreDance and Tap, and is a competition team choreographer.  While she isn’t wearing her tap shoes, Miss Jackie is wife to Jonathan for 9 years, and mother to Stephanie and Caleb, both N-Step Dance Center Competition Team National award winners.






Miss Emma 

Miss Emma has had the privilege of receiving her training from some of the most experienced teachers in the New England area. It was with the help and guidance of her teachers that she earned the opportunity to study with The Joffrey Ballet in New York and The Royal Academy of Dance in London. 

Emma has been dancing since the age of three and has trained under well known teachers such as David Howard, Peter Schabel, Herida Mae, John Magus, Andy Blankenbuhler, Katherine Sullivan, Winthrop Corey, Zelma Bustillo and many more.

As well as dance, Emma also has experience in theater. She has participated in numerous plays and musical productions. Along with teaching dance, she passes on her experience on the stage to her students.

Emma has been formally teaching dance since 1999.  She is excited to be back in the classroom this fall after having a baby this Spring and will be choreographing for our Competition Team. Many of her students have received  high score awards and have won titles. In 2007 alone, Emma received 6 Outstanding Choreography awards for her work with our students. Emma's choreography ("Sau Gan") can be seen on www.vipdanceonline.com. Her students have also been accepted into numerous training programs including The Boston Ballet, New York City Dance Alliance, Walnut Hill and the Tisch School of the Arts (NYU). Emma added the role of adjudicator to her resume in 2008!

Miss Janet
Miss Janet has studied with the Boston Ballet, The Boston Conservatory, and also many other ballet masters including: David Howard, Joseph Giocobbi, and Jose Mateo to name a few. She previously owned a school in the New England area for 18 years and has since been sharing her extensive knowledge with students in the local area. Because of her technical training many of her dancers have gone on to win such titles as: Miss DMA, Jr. Miss and Petite Miss with the New England Chapter. Her students have also won numerous titles, high scores and technique awards at prestigious competitions such as ADA and IDC.

Miss Janet will be teaching advanced and intermediate level ballet. We are delighted to have Miss Janet at
N-Step and look forward to all she has to share with our Family!

Miss Stephanie
Miss Stephanie grew up in southern New Hampshire and started danceing at age 4.  She started competing and teaching at age 12 in the areas of jazz, ballet, lyrical and tap.  She then went on to study dance at Palm Beach Atlantic University where she majored in Dance.  In addtion to Ballet, Jazz and Hip-Hop she studied Modern dance that concentrated in Horton and Cunningham techniques.  She remained on the provost list throughout her studies and was a student ambassador for the dance department at the school.  While attending the university, she auditioned and performed in the university's Dance Ensemble as a principal and then actued as student director her junior and senior year.

She also had the opportunity to dance professionally for the Demetrius Klein Dance Company.  She studied under Demetrium Klein for 4 years and was able to teach and choreograph for his school in Lake Worth, Florida.

Miss Stephanie will be teaching Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Ballet.  We are excited to have her as a Teach Choreographer this year as well!  Stephanie is now living with her husband and baby daughter in New Hampshire and is excited to be teaching at N-Step Dance Center!

Miss Erin
Miss Erin began dancing at the age of 3 and continued dancing and training in the forms of Ballet, Tap and Jazz for the next 11 years.  As an adult she continued to pursue her love of the art of Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop for an additional 5 years.

Miss Erin was very involved in Theatre in High School.  As a result, she pursued her passion in College and minored in Theater, as well as performed in several collegiate productions.  While in college she studied Theater Directing, Acting and Set Design.  Her studies also included various classes in Education, including Early Childhood Education. 

Miss Erin has taken her knowledge that she gained from all her studies and successfully applied them to her classes.  She is currently teaching Tiny Tots, PreDance, Beginning Jazz and is a choreographer for the Competition Team.  She is also the proud mother of one of our Compettition Team Dancers, Sinéad!

Miss Monique
Miss Monique began her dance career right here in NH at the age of 3.  She began taking clogging lessons at the age of 8 with the Granite State Cloggers as a few of her family members were on the team.  That's when her love of clogging began. 

Miss Monique has several routines that have been published in Step in Time and the Double Toe Times, which are National Clogging Publications.  She has taught her original routines to such venues as the Northeast Clogging Convention & Competition as well as workshops throughout New England and Texas, as well as judged clogging at such venues.  She has been fortunate enough to have taken workshop classes from national instructors all over the country.  She is the Director of the Northeast Elite Clogging Company, a competition clogging team made up of members from all over New England.  We are so thrilled to have Monique's talent and enthusiasm her at N-Step Dance Center! 

          


Lindsay Pelletier

Lindsay has trained in dance her whole life and has spent the majority of it competiting as well. She has studied jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, contemporary, hip hop and pointe.

Lindsay has received numerous title, high score and special awards at both regional and national competitions. She has also trained with the Boston Ballet and NYCDA's Summer Intensive. Lindsay has had the privilege to perform at Walt Disney World and attend master class with the world famous Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. In the summer of 2003, she was also a member of the "Sophisticated National Dance Team". Most recently, Lindsay was awarded the "Future Star Award" sponsored by Dance Spirit Magazine as was featured in a recent issue. Also, while attending our 2007 Nationals, Lindsay was crowned Miss Dance of the United States.

Lindsay has been teaching at NSDC since it's doors opened. Lindsay is a member of the class of 2013 at the University of New Hampshire.



Ashley Smith
Ashley took her first dance class at the age of two and a half, and has been dancing ever since. From her original disciplines of Ballet and Tap, she has branched out in her studies to include Lyrical, Jazz, Modern, Pointe, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre and Partnering. 

At the age of six, Ashley began competing. Since then she has been awarded many high scores, special awards, scholarships and titles at various regional and national dance competitions. Such scholarships include the "Convention Triple Threat" Award, a Ballet Scholarship, and two runner-up "Senior Outstanding Dancer" Scholarships at New York City Dance Alliance. She has also had the opportunity to attend the prestigious summer intensives offered by The Boston Ballet and NYCDA. 

Ashley loves children of all ages and uses this love and understanding to reach out to her students. She also engages their imagination to help them understand ways to think outside the box. Ashley strives to transfer her great love of dance to all of her students and hopes they all grow to love dance in their own way.
